Kiannah Parks

Ms. Parks was born in Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1986. She received her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Cal Poly, Pomona in 2009. She has also received her CCL in Public Safety Leadership from Rio Salado College and graduated from The State of Arizona African American Leadership program. While attending school, Ms. Parks became the assistant youth pastor at her church Greater New Jerusalem. While there, she helped mentor and invest by way of choir and dance where she served for 6 years. Ms. Parks previously served under Lt. Col Frank Milstead as an Executive Assistant (ASD/HP Division) for the State of Arizona Highway Patrol for 5 years. While working full-time for the Highway Patrol, Ms. Parks worked part-time serving as a care worker for A Blessed Nest: a group home where she fell in love with working with young at-risk girls. She currently serves as an Executive Assistant for Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center which is a non-=profit organization in Phoenix that focuses on helping people help themselves. Ms. Parks has been contacted by various schools in the Valley, and invited by other organizations to mentor troubled youth. Kiannah resides in Phoenix, AZ, and loved karaoke, movies, traveling and spending time with her 3 children: Aariyah (17), Marcus (13), and Micah (11).
